Split PDFs for free

Split PDF extracts individual pages or ranges from a document and saves them as new PDF files – ideal for excerpts, chapters, or single invoices from a bundle.

How it works

1. Choose a PDF file. 2. Enter pages or ranges. 3. Select export mode. 4. Split PDF. 5. Download the result.

Upload a PDF, choose pages or ranges, select an export mode, and start the process. Then download the results individually or as a ZIP.

How do I enter page ranges?

1-5 means pages 1 through 5, 2,4,8 selects individual pages, and 1-3,7,10-12 is a combined selection. Spaces are ignored.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Processing happens entirely locally in your browser. File contents and metadata are not sent to our servers.

Which PDFs can be split?

Normal, non-password-protected PDF files are supported. Very large documents depend on your device’s available memory.
